Ever since I saw this episode of Gintama, I've been wanting to do this cosplay. I never really knew how I would approach making the outfit since it's so ridiculous, which is why I've been putting it off for so long.

A few weeks before Anime Expo, I decided I wanted to try making it. I knew I wanted it to have a soft and squishy sort of feel, which is why I went with a stuffed look. I know it's not the cleanest suit ever, but I'm content with how it came out.

I felt good when people recognized me as the Mayo Prince from Gintama. I had so many people asking me what I was, asking me if I was a Japanese mayonnaise bottle, or shouting "hey, it's king pin!" *sigh* It's only funny to those in the know.

How many Gintama cosplays have I done so far?? I can't get enough, mayo!
