Shaun of the Dead

My favorite cosplay as-of now. Took a lot of work, but it was worth it. I actually had been hoping for maybe a couple "You got red on you" remarks from people (even though my 'bloody' shirt didn't quite make CCI 2012, but I'll explain later), but by the end of the day I had lost track of the amounts of times I had heard it, from anywhere from crossing the floor to riding up an elevator.
I believe this was the last one I began, since I started it in the middle of June. I ordered the cricket bat online (it's a kid's one), and recieved a pretty bad, crappily assembled, sticker covered one. Which was what I wanted. I took everything off, which created the texture, added tennis grip, and spray painted it. Very fun.
The shirt (second group of shots) was not easy and a bit tedious, but still fun. I made the blood out of some strongly pigmented food coloring, corn syrup, and flour. I proceded to attack the shirt with said mixture and a coffee whisk. It never dried. Still is a bit weird texture, but I am using it for CCI 2013.
The badge is most simple. I procrastinated, so I took copy paper, a printout of the badge, card stock, some safety pins, and double sided tape. I secured the safety pins and laminated it with clear packaging tape.
