“A king should be there for his people. Without his people there is no king.”

Uhm, somehow I still seem to have a soft spot for a little weird asian characters XD. So it might be no wonder that I instantaneously fell in love with the baka ouji from Xing when watching FMA – Brotherhood.
And I never regretted it XD. He’s an often comical char, a bold one who seems to enjoy to eat mountains of food at the expense of the Elric brothers and appears to have his head up in the clouds as much that he collapses on the street due to a rummaging belly. That he proofed to be in fact quite intelligent and calculating though made me like him even more. (Although it is no wonder keeping in mind the fact that he grew up with lots of other heirs apparent, who’d prospectively kill another without a second glance.) I really fell for that guy though when I saw his loyal attitude towards his ppl, especially his subordinates and his attitude towards ruling.

Well, about the making process:

First confession: The trousers weren’t sewn by me but a good friend, namely since we originally planned to wear our FMA cosplays together at Japanday in Düsseldorf this summer but postponed them unanimously since really no one of the group got finished in time xD.
Second confession: The wig was neither my work but kindly cut and styled by another friend:
The rest though is indeed my humble contribution. In other words:
I at least hand-sewed and painted the jacket and plundered my cupboard to get the rest together.

Uhm, besides this cosplay is neither purely anime nor manga version but an interesting mix.
I chose orange-yellow over pure yellow fabric for the jacket since I liked the tone much better when confronted with it in the fabric store and at a whim decided this way on the manga cover version. But just after I had painted the whole white pattern onto it, I saw that in the manga the pattern on the back is different from the one I was used to from the anime… so well… happens… I don’t bother…

The first time wearing this cosplay I strangely felt most inchar on the train back home… When I bummed and ate my way through hotdog, sushi, black and whites, yoghurette, pokkis und madeleines and no, not in that particular order but in a jumble. And no, I didn’t feel sick at all afterwards! :)
I guess I’d gain 20 pounds easily should I wear this cosplay more often ^^’’. But it’s pure fun especially when meeting other FMA cosplayers who actually know my char since he is manga and FMA –Brotherhood only.
In 2014 when the Chang girl happened to join me at the bookfair in Leipzig we happened not to find each other for hours, which was very incharacter if I reflect about it afterwards now.
