This costume wasn´t in my "Cosplay List" to start with, and I had neither thought or planned to do it in the future.

It all started with that I needed to decide what to cosplay at Tracon 7 and I only knew that I didn´t really feel like recycling one of my old cosplays again. I felt that I wanted to do something new for once, something easy and fairly recognizable. So I and Blood_Sword looked after characters that I could do. We didn´t find anything until he said the next day "Why don´t you do a du du Digimon character?"

Yeah, why didn´t I thought about that earlier? They are quite simple, fairly recognizable and probably nostalgic for many.

So I thought about all the Digimon characters I knew about and then I decided on Yamato "Matt" Ishida. I picked Yamato because he is the more silent, loner type of guy which is the type of characters I tend to like. But I picked him also for the reason that I like and would feel comfortable in his clothes. Oh, and Gabumon is quite cool, especially his later evolutions. But Gomamon will always stay as my favourite from the first generation of Digimon.
