The costume was fairly easy to make. The nurse dress is based off a dress I already own with some alterations. The hood is made using stretch velvet(this was a bit tricky to make).A friend of mine sourced the bells that are at the ends of the "horns".The balls were removed from inside of the bells so they didn't drive me nuts while wearing them.
The mask is made from craft foam and stuck on to my face using spirit gum.
People kept asking me if I bought two pairs of boots (black and red) but in fact they are just my Skechers boots that I've used for many other costumes.I just made a red boot cover for one of the boots, sewed in seams and painted in shading on the cover to give it more dimension.

The toughest part of the costume to make was the mallet.
It's made using a pilates/gym foam roller(like a thick pool noodle) that was carved and covered with acrylic putty(to seal and give it texture),gesso'd and then painted with acrylic paint. The "metal" portion of the mallet was made using thick foam, that was painted silver on the edges and covered with silver paper that I brushed with a scouring pad to give it a brushed metal feel.Rivets were then added and then stuck on the end of a wooden stick bought from a hardware store.
