Dothraki Outfit (Season 2)
Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice & Fire

I threw this together for a friend's GoT-themed house party. I probably don't make the best Daenerys, but I only had about a month to get a costume together and I figured this outfit would be one of the easier ones to do quickly (moreso than, say, Brienne's).
I made the top from scratch, as well as the skirt and belt. If I were really serious about this costume, I'd attempt to handweave the top, but I just found the best fabric I could. The skirt fabric is kind of meh, but I was trying to do this cheaply and just grabbed what I could find at JoAnn.
The boots could use some weathering and straps for better accuracy, but I didn't feel like essentially destroying them for this costume. That may change, though, if I ever decide to wear it again.
Wig was from an eBay seller (it's so-so quality - fortunately this costume requires messy hair so I didn't have to do a good job of styling it), penannular brooch is from Etsy, and pants are suede leggings.
I'd wanted to make some dragon eggs but ran out of time. Since the party also included a feast using recipes from the GoT cookbook, I decided to buy a heart mold and made some Jello "horse hearts."
