This character from Naruto was one of my more... for lack of a better word, favored characters in the "eye candy" category. I didn't actually think that I would cosplay him, until I was walking through a shop one day, and I saw a matching, Jacket and pants set.. and it had a very "Hey that kinda looks like the Naruto shikenkann outfit that Izumo and Kotetsu wore!" look to it.. and that set being on sale, I picked it up, and slapped on some athletic tape to make myself a "nose brace", and "chin guard"... and thus a simple Kotetsu costume was born.
Normally, I appreciate the look of handsewn work, because it portrays the true intent and devotion the creator has to making themselves look like their respectful characters; but sometimes, it also takes a good bargain hunter to make a good costume... May not be the most respectable costume because it's bought, but it's intent was still there when I bought clothing meant for daily use, to turn it into a cosplay fashion statement. XP
