This is the first costume I made as a member of my cosplay group, Crosslines Cosplay. It took about a year of planning, though for most of that time I wasn't actively working on it. We decided as a group to do these costumes at a convention, then next years convention is when we debuted them. It was fun working on costumes along side others and I think these costumes all go well together.
The tails took a lot of work, I would say I am most proud of them as they make the costume look more impressive when on, but they are hard to manage and can fall out of place. They are basically large pillows, each one has a wire/rod running through it that are all attached to a base which is then attached to a weight-belt/harness I made.
The painting on the tabard is another thing I'm happy that turned out as well as it did. I think the blue color against he black, when the rest of the costume doesn't have much color really pops and when I'm not wearing the tails it is the main impressive thing about the costume.
