I started thinking about this cosplay back in December 2011 when I first got into cosplay and I really really wanted to fo it. So I started looking around online. Well, time passed and Anime Expo snuck up pretty quickly and I ordered the costume last minute. The day of AX 2012 comes and the costume is a no show so I decided to go to the con in my first outfit (Rin from Syncronicity) which barely qualified as cosplay. I had my makeup and contacts and I had a really cheap, costume store wig. Within 4 hours at AX I find the PERFECT wig and costume and get them. A little after I purchased it, I receive a call from my mom saying the OTHER Rin costume came in at the house (2 hours away from LA). So needless to say, that AX was a bit crazy, but I did wear the costume I got.
A few months later, after much debating, I decided to open the package instead of ship it back. Delighted I found a better top, boy and arm leg warmers. So I used both of my Rin costumes and sort of mixed them around. The pants on the shipped costume are HUGE and so I might give them to my boyfriend who will be cosplaying as Len for AX 2013. I upgraded my make up after that and the full, updated cosplay was shown at Animé LA 2013 in January. I'm still in the process of making the headphones and bobbypins and from then I'm done!
