Calliope's trollsona | dead

Homestuck

Last Updated: 04-30-2013

Ahhhh, I can't believe I'm getting to do such an adorable (female!!) character! I never would have thought so. Never.
Just goes to show how much I like Calliope and Homestuck, that I'm doing something so uncharacteristic for me.
She's suuuch a cute bby, I just always wanted to give her a hug and gaaaah! ;>A<;

In any case I got the idea when I saw the update in which you see her dead trollsona sprite and I thought: ''Hey, you love this character and.... You have almost everything you need already...''
So the muse (haha HS inside joke) struck me again.
The wig is the same one I use for Rose, slightly restyled. The pants and tailcoat material I had left over from Mukuro's Kokuyo uniform, and the bow material from Damara.
A black shirt I already owned.
The horns were made like always, with leftover material.
Already had the lenses from the other plethora of Homestuck ghosts.
I also decided to make her white wand.
So the only thing I really needed to buy were the shoes!

So, even though this was a rather cheap cosplay, it still took a loooooooot of work.
I had to modify a blazer pattern into having tails, and then had huge trouble with the collar. Only one of my friend's grandmas, who has beeing sewing for many years, could help me.
And now I am so happy!! ^u^

Since our first shooting location was kind of a disappointment, we're probably going to shoot Callie/Roxy again another time again. :)
