Pokemon X and Y

OH DEAR GOD THE DRAMA ATTACHED TO THIS ONE. Long story short this one also has literal blood sweat and tears put into it.

The top material was a lucky find for half off. At the last of the bolt. Which was just enough. It was meant to be...! Pattern was modified from a kimono pattern and made to be more fitted. Sleeves are just tubes and thank god for sock glue for keeping those up even while taking tons of photos all day.

The skirt looks like crap. Mostly because I haven't done a pleating job like this before and it was pretty annoying (not to mention I was running out of time...). Every panel is hand cut and the outside parts were stiffened with buckram. SO MUCH OF IT.

Despite them being neon freaking orange I love the crap out of my shoes. They hurt my toes pretty badly but they worked for what I needed. c:

I am currently in the process of redoing the tail and adding a bow to act like ears.

This is sadly still only partly done. Due to some drama with my group (moves, laziness, ect...), I had to work on two costumes and ran out of time. I learned a whole bunch about time management and thank everything for that considering my next couple projects.

All photos courtesy of Laura Martin (who outdid herself this time!).
