Bioshock: Infinite

Last Updated: 06-04-2013

Budget Cost: 17$
Suiting fabric: 6$ (2 yards)
Duck cloth: 5$ (1 yard)
bias tape: 2$ (X2)
interfacing: 2$ (1yard)
eyelets: 2$

(duck canvas)

I followed this pattern: http://kellaxproductions.deviantart.com/art/Corset-Pattern-Drafting-Tutorial-207712780

The boning is metal, inserted into the bias tape after sewing (the metal came from my folder cabinet). Some of the fine details and piping were left out because I liked the clean look of the bias tape. I used antiqued brass eyelets for the back. The edges are lined with interfacing. The lace is from my remnant bag.

(suiting fabric)

Pattern is made from scratch. I chose to go with a warm climate friendly fabric, over velvet again. The fronts are sewn inside out and lined with quilt interfacing. The collar was altered slightly from original design.

(suiting fabric)

Pattern is based off my underskirt. The waist ends underneath the ribcage.
