Rosebud and I thought it would be cool to do the kimonos that Sakura and Hinata wear in the 5th opening, "GO!," and then after we discovered the cherry blossoms were blooming, we worked for a week in between classes to get the base outer kimonos done.

It was originally going to be the furisode kimono that she wears in the opening and the gashapon model, but it became more of the yukata from one of the manga section dividers: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y160/amiyuy01/random/sakuramanga.jpg

The yukata version was easier to do in the short time that I had to throw this together. Not to mention my short wig would not do the hairstyle that the figure has, so I went with the manga one, and then decided to go with the yukata version as well and just use the colors from the figure.

I have not yet had the chance to paint the flowers on, but I'm pretty happy with it so far. ^_^
