I started this costume when one of my best buddies asked me if I wanted to attend a Naruto gathering/photoshoot that she was organizing. I wanted to go since it'd be fun, but I didn't know who to cosplay and the first person she told me was Hinata so I figured why not~ Didn't really finish it for the gathering since it got cancelled due to bad weather (;o;)~ But! I finally got the drive to finish it for S-con! =33 I got a lot of comments saying I was just like Hinata (^^") hahaha, I didn't know it was going to be that well received. So, thank you to all!^^ I feel very honoured.

Umm, technicalities about the costume? I actually altered my coat =O It was supposed to be a double layer coat from... dundundun... Giordano XD;;; Originally, there was this black strip of fabric that ran across the front... But I was able to take it out quite cleanly, so I'm glad^^ Everything else was pretty easy.

The second hardest to figure out is the shoe cover. Actually, I've used a pair of sandals I own and just made covers for it with foam sewn in adding the extra poofyness and comfyness XD It's still very testy, but at least it survived the con =3 I'd like to make an even more comfy pair of sandals tho =3

The hardest to the costume? Ha! That would be my painstakingly made badges on my sleeves. And I mean, painstakingly to the last letter... Zigzag stitches on the sewing machine for... I dunno... a little less than half an hour for one? =O It might've been more, I didn't count (-__-) I know it doesn't sound much, but to a zigzag sewing newbie like me that was trying that for the first time (I'm serious, I -just- learned how to do it), it was very painstaking. At least it turned out awesomely X3 For that, I'm very glad for the hard work!

Hmm... oh yes, and that's not my real hair XD;; I do have black hair... but it's very long and straight... so I needed a wig =3 When my "papa" was styling it at the beginning it looked like Sasuke's hair XD But we managed to tame it down a bit with an iron and much gel/wax XD;;;
