I made 4 costumes in total (2 boys, 2 girls) for our First Gundam group.

The hardest thing about the costume? Eh, the sheer number of things that went wrong... a small example being that the trim I bought for the yellow didn't work out and I had to dye a crap-load of white basting tape to make the trim. Take that incident and multiply it by 10 and you have the events making this (actually 4 of these outfits) costume a major pain.

On the plus side, making these for AX2006 was good timing. Toru Furuya (Amuro's voice actor) was one of the late announced guests, so I was able to get pictures of our Amuro and Mirai with him :)

The Federation line up went Sayla (me), Amuro (NeoLordMaxwell), Mirai (RanYagami), and Kai (hedgesmfg). Yes, we actually had a Kai and I did pose for someone smacking him XD
