Vest and Konoha forehead protector were ebay'd. Cheap sweat-pants, weight-lifting gloves. Cannibalized a plain white shirt for the band around the thigh and the leg wrappings, and a black one for the mask. :D

Ordered two pairs of shoes, neither fit. Dunno what to do with them now. For the con I wore black flip-flops with cut-up black socks so that my toes stuck out. It looked the same..from sixty feet away or so.

Needless to say, 50% of the costume was created Sunday morning before we left the hotel to go to the convention center. Yeah it was one of /those/ kind of costumes.

The shoulder patches were cut Sunday morning from cloth left over from my Vash coat. Tried to sticky-velcro them to the underarmor I was wearing..didn't work. Ended up safety-pinning them on, and they were flappy.

Update:

Didn't end up bringing this one out again until the next Megacon. Small changes here and there, ended up getting a kunai holster and shuriken pouch, actually buying the wraps beforehand, but overall, this costume wasn't great. I needed the right gloves, the right shoes, better pants, a real Kakashi long-sleeved shirt, and a wig.

As it was everything I had fell apart with each step I took.
