I'm... not quite sure what inspired me to make this costume. While I enjoyed the show, it wasn't a show that I would've dropped everything I was doing to make a costume from it. I think, like a lot of people, I was more into the character designs than the actual characters, and one day I sat down and designed a dress for Chii (which is pretty amazing, because I can't design anything worth diddly). I had some beautiful brocade fabric I had bought a year earlier that I had never used, and I thought it would work well for this costume. Suddenly the long Godiva wigs were on sale, I needed to make something--anything--for one of my art classes, and at the last minute we decided to go to WonderCon, so the stars sort of aligned for this costume, LoL!
