Renaissance Faire Gypsy
Historical
Last Updated: 02-16-2018
This all came about because it was so hot on the mid-October weekend when we went to the Ohio Renaissance Faire. I had another outfit in mind, but there was no way I was going to wear velvet in summer weather.
I needed something cooler and still comfortable. I went back to my roots. There’s a reason my cosplay name is Gypsy Girl. I can always come up with a gypsy costume.
The blouse is actually a dress I bought from a Halloween store.
The skirt is one I bought from a theatre costumer.
The horseshoe nail necklace I borrowed from my mother. The other necklace I bought at a thrift store.
To finish the look I added a simple shawl because it was cool in the morning and comfy boots for lots of walking at the faire.
