This was my first worbla build and took a lot of time. I have learned a lot since then and intend on doing things a bit differently next time! ^_^b
I drew out all the detailed pieces on paper and poster board and used them as stensils for foam and worbla. I used the sandwich method created by Kamui (It works so well!!) To create the armor. I primed the worbla with gesso and sanded by hand. (worst decision. Ever.) And then painted.
I attached the armor with D-rings, nylon webbing, and a few safety pins.
The soft parts were fairly easy to make. The cloak is made of a soft, red velour. I added gold fring to match the anime.
I loved making this costume but have only worn it once. I hope to be able to wear it again soon.
