Loli Pirate :D!

May is one of my favorite cosplays. She's very comfy to wear, and suits me body and looks wise. And I feel so goddamn adorable in her ;A;

The undershirt was bought and the tights I've had since I was little (what does THAT tell you about my growth rate or lack thereof? :|). The jumper is just squares of orange cotton linen, and the hat is this foam-ish material... I deconstructed one of the Halloween-season PotC hats and covered it in orange cotton linen, slapped a skull iron-on onto it. The hat is actually really ghetto irl even though it looks pretty good in pictures, and I really wanna remake it someday because I've never really been happy with it.

The shoes I love even though they're not really accurate- they're custom high-top Converse Chucks, and have 'LUV JOHNNY' monogrammed on the heel :D The wrist and neck armor is made from Crayola Model Magic. The gloves, belt and my anchor were also purchased- the anchor from Fright Catalog (dotcom), which has a store near where I live. I just wrapped athletic tape around the handle. someday I wanna make her anchor accurately.

I also keep meaning to get myself a couple dolphin plushies (I almost did at Otakon!), and I've also wanted to make a plushie of Janice, the Jellyfish Pirates' cat (The January of the crew- you can see her in May's Instant Kill). Someday, someday... I also wanna someday add all those buckles I left out of her jumper (because the ones I'd bought didn't fit the elastic that I used for the shoulder straps) and make/find an accurate belt buckle.. little things.

I think it was one of the first costumes I was REALLY proud of.
