My first sewn costume! I wanted something fairly simple. I had leftover pink and yellow flannel from Honey, and leftover turquoise fabric from Fai. I copied the shape from a dress I owned, and just widened the skirt a little to make it flare out a bit. The headband was the only thing I bought especially for this costume, and it was $0.79. Everything else I just had sitting around.

The construction isn't great. I didn't really have any idea what I was doing with the neckline and armholes, so those are kind of shoddy. I used Heat 'n Bond for the applique, and it started to peel off- I had to hot glue it down at the convention.

Even so, I'm a little proud of this costume. I like Mandy and her psycopathic misanthropy. She's really very adorable. And evil.
