I began with the skirt - square pattern, very simple, quick to do if you except the lace at the bottom.
The hard part was the kimono : it was my first one, the collar as I had planned it required precision sewing, and it's fully lined, so I had to do a lot of hand sewing inside the sleeves.
The obi would have been hard if I hadn't done another one just before, for a play. I already knew what techniques to use for it to look right, so it was kinda quick to make. It took me a lot of searching to get a fabric that fitted, though (I wanted something black and textured, and it was during summer). It's the part of the outfit I prefer :)
