IT'S SO PINK.
Making it was a huge burden though. The pattern I used to make the corset was too small and so we had to enlarge it. The accessories were REALLY easy too. I have huge wrists so no bracelet was big enough for me. instead of buying them, I took two rolls of duck tape, covered them in masking tape (duck tape doesn't accept paint very well) and bingo. Instant bracelet. All the balls were either made of pom-poms or Styrofoam.
The wig I ordered was made to look longer on one side so the first time I altered it, it didn't look right. So I brushed it all out and restyled it to look better at Animefest. Which it did.
A lot of things were held together by safety pins and hot glue.
I wasn't planning on painting my body for the convention but I ran into some dollar theater makeup at party city and bought a tube of red and two tubes of white. Har. Getting painted = not fun. Once you're pink, touching IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. I left a trail of neo-pink geostigma everywhere I went. I even needed help getting my back done so I owe my friends a lot for aiding my lack of reach-ability.
Oh and, instead of painting the three red dots on my head, I opted to use several face jewels. My friends and I abused the face jewels like whoa, even though you can't really see them.
I happily won a walk-on award with my Ruby Moon friend too. It was supposed to be a grand CCS walk-on but the rest either didn't want to or didn't have their costumes done in time.
