Blackfire was a lot of fun to make and wear. I tend to cosplay villainesses a lot for some reason, and Blackfire is a nice addition to my collection of evil women costumes. This was my first attempt with stretchy fabrics, and I'm very happy with the results. My only regret with this one is that I can't imitate Blackfire's voice to save my life.
This one only took a few weeks to complete. Everything somehow worked out correctly for this costume. I wore it for Halloween, and only had to add some padding to the collar and gauntlets before Katsucon. Blackfire was probably the fastest costume I've ever made.
