Possibly my best one yet... The head is a complicated plastic mesh structure, attatched to my head by a headband of mesh. Its sewn with yarn, and the shape was molded by adding strips of mesh here and there, and building up bulk with bumpers of looped mesh... Then cover that all up with batting... OH, only after adding hanger wire structures for the fins into the mesh. Then handsew terry cloth over all that. The eyes are vinyl- seethrough to the user, but not to anyone else due to the darkness on the inside of the head. The shine was painted on. The tail is stuffed with foam pellets and held up by a corset-like belt on the inside to keep it from tugging the whole fabric down. The shoes are big puffy slippers coverd in terry.

This was a fun costume. I really wanted to do a whole fursuit of a Pokemon. I got tired of seeing half-suits of people who dress as Pokemon-INSPIRED costumes... ^^; Not that they're bad, but no one ever does the whole 9 yards, so to speak. (or rarely, anyway)

It was a fun costume, but I found it rude that people would ask with a scoff "Where's Umbreon or Espeon?" or "Where's Eevee? Gosh." Like. Dude. Rude, man. Gay. Like it wasnt enough that I did Vaporeon AND Jolteon all in the span of ONE week. o.O People are so demanding. I guess you can never make some people happy. u,u

We entered in the Saturday Hal Costume contest... We had CPU fans attatched to battery packs around our necks under our ruffs, but Flareon's totally busted JUST as we were walking up the steps to the stage, man. Those costumes only got 30 seconds of oxygen without the fans, literally. Due to the solid vinyl eyes, there was -no- ventilation. The fans sucked in air through the sheer noses. So she kinda quickly ran off stage while me and my mom in Jolteon stayed to wave. XD good times
