Updated: 10-31-03 - Added matching 'gloves' with more faux fur around the knuckles.

It was a surprise costume for my boyfriend. Considering that I went to a generic comic convention and not an anime one, it was very well recieved. Very comfy too. ^_^

The shirt is the "i am cute" shirt from the online comic Megatokyo. The skirt is just a random one that I picked up at Marshalls. Yes, the collar is a real cat collar and the tag is a real pet tag with "AMI" on it. The ears are made of faux fur and that foam/rubbery stuff that comes in sheets and were colored with a sharpie. They are held in my hair by hair clips and not attached to a headband, which created the problem of trying to hide them, which didn't happen real well. The wrist and ankle bands are just faux fur that I cut out and put fray check on the edges of, so it wouldn't fall apart, and attached with elastic on the wrists and plain old tape on the ankles. The tail is faux fur that I sewed and then attached to the inside of my skirt with a saftey pin and added the matching rose for no apparent reason. ^_^
