I saw the El-Hazard OAVs back in the 90s and always thought Rune Venus was incredibly beautiful. After making Mandy, I figured I could take on a more challenging costume.

I wore this costume first at Anime Expo 2006, and then fixed a bunch of things before I wore it again at Ani-Magic. I took in the top (it was far too large on me), recolored the shoes from brightbright pink to the magenta they were supposed to be, made her bracers and ankle armor (or whatever those are supposed to be), and added some more poof to her headdress.

I love the headdress, it's my favorite part of the costume. I am mostly using my own hair for this costume. There's a bun wiglet over my ponytail in the back, but unfortunately it doesn't show in any of the pictures. Oh well. At least I know it's there. Unnecessary accuracy!
