Due to a lengthy internship abroad and my own procrastination, I ended up making this costume in 6 days. I had all the supplies before that time, however, so it was really just the sewing and the assembly. x_x

I had enormous fun walking around with the cigarette all day (which I made out of a pen--not the one in the costume icon), and I even lost if for 15 very anxious minutes. I felt like an addict by that point, haha.

One of my favorite parts of this costume is the attachments for the cord--which should have been braided, but don't tell anyone. I got to make them out of aluminum sheeting, and they worked just as I'd hoped they would. I also love the little stars on the epaullets, which I was lucky enough to find as buttons.

I ended up dying the wig three times. Because it's two-toned, I had to get a lighter wig and dye the back of it. The first time, I washed it out too soon. The second time, the dye still wasn't dark enough. Third time, with another colour ink, it finally dried the right colour, and it was a good thing because the convention was in 5 days. o_O
