I suppose I should begin by explaining (again) that this is NOT an official character design released by Nintendo. A while back I'd sketched an elaborate, ornate gown based on various versions of Zelda's official design, as how I'd imagine her to look if she were a real princess. I left the notebook I was using at Blackmarth's apartment, and she surprised me on Christmas by illustrating the whole design for me as a gift: http://www.oneblackrose.org/pandachimp/zeldadesignfull.jpg. I loved it so much that I decided to make up for my old version of Zelda by doing this one instead!

This is, hands down, my ultimate dream costume. I was so ashamed after making my Twilight Princess version because it looked like total garbage and fell apart on me before I even reached the con. I swore to myself I'd make a version I could be happy with, and make it to the absolute best of my ability, and HERE IT BE.

I'll probably go back and make a new sword and shoulder armor to match the artwork more accurately, but I'm so deliriously happy with it right now that I could kinda care less. :3
