Shell is made with twill and lining is made of this faux suede $1 fabric from Wal*mart and is surprisingly heavy and not-cheap looking.

Basically an overcoat whose pattern I had to alter to add a lining, a vest with a zipper, and finally a black kimono. The hakama I made myself, the fabric is the same as the coat, believe it or not...

The shoes are from J-list and I glued blue bias tape to them. The heel straps kept falling down so now they're pinned in place. I might glue them later, but it's not likely because if I do, I might not be able to get the shoe on my foot.
I don't have Shinsou so I had to do lame poses. *emos*

I met great people when I wore this, so I feel really good about it. :)

Also, just to clarify, I was binding, but then I decided it would be a great idea to put my camera and wallet in my vest. So I had square cleavage. But didn't realize it. AWESOME. Not.
