A few years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to the Boktai series on Gameboy Advance. At first, I didn't really know what to make of it. "A game with a solar sensor? Sounds like a cheap marketing ploy to me." Nevertheless, I started playing through it and in no time at all the game really started to grow on me.

For a long while, my favorite character was Sabata. But in terms of cosplay, I didn't think that he really suited me very well. So, Django was the next best thing! I had always liked both him and Otenko in the games, and I just thought that he would be an amazing person to cosplay one day.
