This costume was my first cosplay! Eowyn has always been my favorite character in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and many people claim that I bear quite a resemblance to her, so this costume was a must!

This costume was a work in progress for a couple of years before I was able to fully finish it. I constructed the bodice and underdress in 2004 (but the sleeves and trim were unfinished). At that time, I wore it to a local Lord of the Rings event and I also wore it for Halloween and The Great Lakes Medieval Faire as well. I recently finished the trim and cap sleeves this past summer, in order to wear it to the official ELF convention, held in new Jersey.
