6/09/07 - Officially abandoning wig aspirations. Any further use of this cosplay will consist of me using coloring on my dreads. Fixed the costume up today, so it's literally as done as it's going to.

To do List: Redo visor (Destroyed at AB), Redo Sword hilt....AGAIN.

2/28/07 - Costume's pretty much as done as it's going to get. I have plans to make the chain holster out of a sculpy mold in the future, I should have that done before AB, as well as have suzumushi fixed and solid permanently (I hate how the sword is tilted but the guard is straight). And yeah, I realize that in those pictures, both the chain and the sash hang to the wrong side. That was a retarded move on my part. I clearly wasn't thinking enough out placement when I was putting everything on that day.

But overall, I'm pleased with how it came out. I'll probably add a little more to it in the future in terms of piping. My gloves are also wrong, the solution I made at the time didn't work out. That'll have to be fixed as well.

That damn visor turned out very very nice, but hell if I can't see out of it. A fresh coat of paint and it'll be good as new, though I still won't be able to see out of it, which is...fitting.

So adjustments are minor. Should be 100 percent fairly soon.

02/11/07 - Coat's done, just need to add the chain. Gloves are done. Wrist and Arm bands are done. Visor is done, just need to paint it. Orange Sash is done.

It seems that everything is about finished. Once I finish the resin hand guard for my sword, the costume will be complete.

11/29/06 - Finished the underside of Tousen's outfit, so I basically have a white version of Tousen's normal shinigami uniform. Next comes the coat, but my progress with Mr. 5 is slowing me down a bit. With luck, I should have both done by the end of december

10/13/06 - Color prints of Tousen's new outfit are out, so I've offically begun my cosplay. Placed an order for a white hakama a few hours ago. When I get paid I'll make a trip down to fabric place and get maybe 5 or 6 yards of white fabric for the top and the coat, and some purple for the sash. I need a lavander instead of a purple it seems. I just hope they have more of the orange I used for the scarf.
