A fairly simple costume; and the first that I've retired. It was actually retired right after AFO, but I pulled it out again just to have some photos of it.

The only pieces sewn were the skirt and the bow. The shirt was bought, as were the shoes, though those were painted yellow. I also bought the socks, but the socks in my photos are my Ryoko socks - I lost Meimi's socks.

The skirt was sewn as a large circluar one, then wide pleats were put in. This was my first time making the pleats myself; it was hard! After the skirt was made, the straps were sewn and hand-stitched to the skirt. The green bow is made of a green piece of fabric sewn in a rectangle, like one might start a pillow, and bound around the middle with another piece of fabric, double layered as well, which was stitched in the back and held onto the shirt and skirt with three safety pins.

I like the fact that I can wear my glasses with this costume and be accurate, but that's really the only thing I like about this costume. I have to bind my chest to appear younger, but I'm still too old and too large for this outfit. I only wore it for two hours at AFO before changing into Saint Tail. The only way I might drag it back out would be for a Saint Tail specific photo shoot.
