I'd always had a soft spot in my heart for Winry, but I'd never liked any of her costumes. When I saw the movie, I remember thinking to myself "if I were ever to cosplay Winry, I'd do that version. It's neat." Several months later, plans fell together for a FMA Movie group, and while I debated over whether I wanted to be Winry or Ed, I scooped up Winry, because I thought Kayla (BlitzAceTidus), being the shortest and a previous Ed cosplayer, would be better suited for the part.

I really loved Cosplaying as Winry, but looking at the costume now, there's a few things I'd like to remake. The shoes also need to be remade, as the original covers ripped, and the shoes themselves gave me awful blisters.
