First big project with the sewing machine, favorite costume up until I hit my Phoenix Wright phase, first one I wore at a con...and a scary obsession with a video game character who doesn't even DO anything except for dance around behind your arrows on the screen! I do not know why I love Naoki so much. I just do. So I HAD to pick him!

Things Ali likes: Pants. Dude. I lucked out and found the greatest pants at Target - they are just slightly shiny, and the perfect bright red color! The shoes are awesome too, I wear them as everyday shoes and get compliments on how cool they are. The only problem is, the acrylic paint flakes off on the sides of the shoe, where the soles bend, and in other places when it gets scuffed or simply wears off over time, so I have to freshen them up every once in a while.

Things Ali doesn't like: I don't think there is much at all I do not like about Naoki. Hmm, this is what I do not like: the fact that I do not have very many pictures of him. Also the fact that if I wear it again, I'll have to find new shoes - I wore out the ones I had, using them as everyday shoes. If I wear it again I'll probably re-make the shirt, though (not hard, I still have the pattern) using my leveled-up sewing skills.

Favorite moments: everyone loves the cowboy hat, it kept getting stolen at Ushicon (Celine wore it twice for photos as Zidane and Tifa ^_~)
What I want to be able to put here is "Playing DDR 5th Mix as first player with my character set as Naoki in the Naoki costume" but I have not yet had a chance to do that -_- Silly conventions always have the latest and greatest DDR machines, and I didn't really want to wear it to a normal arcade.
