This was a long time dream of my mom to make for a costume. My mom and I always ended up doing the most elaborate costumes for Hallowe'en, my favourite time of year! This is our interpretation of Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. The colour of the costume is Purple..no Violet (as my colour theory teacher drills into our heads) because it was my favourite colour at the time. The dress even has a Hoop Skirt underneath similar to the era.
