This costume was actually really hard for me. The sewing aspects were simple enough, but the head made up for it in difficulty. I had never done anything...3D, for lack of a better term, like this so it took me a long time to get a pattern working that I liked. While there was a lot of planning that went into the head, the whole thing was made the night before the con (*sigh* v.v) and so it turned out a little more shabby than I wanted.
I'm impressed with myself though because there are only two materials which I bought for this costume XD huzzah resourcefulness! The blue fabric is the same white muslin as in the turbin but dyed (this was also my first time to dye anything, I don't think the balcony floor will ever get to it's original shade X3). The only things I bought were the sunglasses "eyes" and the sculpting mesh used as the frame for the head. Making this costume to come out at a grand total of $15.
