we had to modify this costume off of another pattern, which was a very hard thing to do. i didn't like how the 2 satin skirts came out, so i remade the skirts in 5 layers of chiffon with no flare to the bottom of the skirts. i made it so if i run or jog, it has a flowing effect in the back.

the chiffon skirts were made in this order starting from the bottom layer:
1st layer-dark violet
2nd layer-light violet
3rd layer-light pink
4th layer-white
5th layer-blue

i made the bodice peice go all the way around my chest area, so it will have more of a hold on me. the skirts were then sewn onto that peice along with a zipper that connects the bodice and the chiffon peices together.

another note, i noticed that the neckline was in a square shape in the movie, but i made mine with a V neck instead. this was purely by accident.

i also saw and bought some white high heels for when or if i go onstage. other than that, i have some plain white slippers to walk around the convention in.

i have the length and the curly style of hair to cosplay Rose. i'm dyed it "true red" before the convention.
