I'm really happy with how the top turned out, since I altered an existing pattern so much that it's almost impossible to see a similarity beyond the v-neck. It was the first time I've done so much to a pattern, and I really love how it turned out. It's also the first major thing I've sewn without any help from anybody. :D I'm getting better!

The skirt, however, is in need of some work before I wear this again. Pleated skirts...ugh. We don't get along too well. My mom couldn't make sense of the thing either, though, so it might have just been a bad pattern.

Urgh. I also just realized that I forgot to sew the blue stripe onto the bottom of the shirt. Durrrr...
