For a long time I've been wanting to make this costume. Sakura rocks, I feel related with her, even more now, that she has grown up and become stronger and mature.
The "real" debut of this costume was on Nippon Project.
Shirt full lined and totally hand sewed. Curved zipper. Took forever to make (infinite thanks to my mom!).
Skirt lined too, and hand sewed. It had to be redone, because the first time I made it too big.
I made myself the hair dye with some chemicals for that use, so it was a confusing process. I made the headband too.
The first time I wore this costume, I just used black boots. I'm really sick and tired of making Naruto shoes... but in the end I did the leg warmers and sandals thing. Oh accuracy.
