Out of the 5 people in our Ranma group, I had to make costumes for 4 of them, and this is one of them. Mel decided on Akane as she wanted to be a female, Shampoo was taken, and my sis was leaning towards female Ranma. I've made costumes for other people before, but nothing quite like this. Most of the time I alter things when possible, but the blue jumper had to be made from scratch and without much help from a pattern, too. I'm quite pleased with how it came out, considering I'd never done a dress/jumper before.
But most of this was bought - shoes, socks, blouse - and the wig was one we had lying around, so its not perfect. So its not completely accurate, but still suits Mel. That and she gets a P-chan, too, so I think she's happy with it. ^_^
