This was probably the easiest costume I've made. The skirt is a dark gray suiting material and is very short and tight. The vest is made of the same material and required minimal pattern alteration. The blouse is a little short (adapted from a dress), but you can't see the bottom under the vest. It's a stiff white cotton with leg of mutton sleeves and a tall collar. The vest has yellow bias tape for the design and the buttons are acryllic jewels. The bow is functional and made of the same stiff white cotton, and the brooch is a jewel hot glued onto a safety pin. The brooch is the wrong shape, but it's not so bad that it ruins the costume. I made the earrings by painting silver posts teal and tying oval-ish beads to them. The wig came in the right style, the boots are almost perfect except the zipper in the back, and the whip is a bit short but workable. Bought the hoise and I already owned the gloves, so I'm all done!
