I have been a huge Dragon Quest fan for about 6 years now. I came into the series a bit late, but I made sure to go back and catch up on the earlier games anyway!
There was a design from DQVII that I was dying to cosplay for years, and still want to do it. But when VIII came out, I was suddenly inspired to organize a cosplay group for it when I realized my friend would be great as Angelo and my brother would be cute as the Hero. That fit me in as Jessica, which was fine since I love her character and design. :) Besides, VIII is obviously the most well known DQ game on this side of the Pacific, so it works for starters. I'll get to my VII cosplay dreams eventually.
