Since I already had the outfit (it's the same as Marauder Sirius's), all I really needed was the wig. Thanks to a friend asking around for me in various places (including here) and the suggestions she got (she passed what she thought to be the overall consensus on to me), I found a winner- but it still needed some minor styling. Once I got it, I asked every hair salon within walking distance of my apartment if they'd style it for me, but no luck. Except, of all places, the local Hair Cuttery- there I finally got a "yes" and they styled it right then and there. Mission accomplished.
