The ultimate crossplay! A girl crossplaying as a guy who crossdresses as a girl, though I will be wearing the clothes he wears when he is openly a man.

Nuriko has got to be my absolute favorite character in the original Fushigi Yuugi series, so when the idea to crossplay as him came to me, I realized that I absolutely HAD to do it.

So, I'm messing with various ideas for the wig. I'm thinking my best bet will be to get a shorter wig, have my stylist friend do all the styling, and then add the braid with extension hair. I found an appropriate color on Cosworx.com and Doctored Locks (though I think I'll ask for swatches this time and match it exactly). If that doesn't work, I'll get a long wig and style it, but that actually seems much harder... We'll see!

The actual sewing part should be fairly easy. I'll just need to make sure I find a nice lightweight fabric, since the dress-ish part is lined. Finding the right colours might be difficult, but I've got the rest of the school year and all summer to do it, so I should be fine. The only other foreseeable problem is the shoes, but I can get white flats and paint them if I have to.

In all, I think it'll turn out great. Now I just need to earn some more money so I can afford it...
