"Prisoner Usagi"

Sailor Moon

Last Updated: 05-30-2007

"Prisoner Usagi" from the second season/arc of BSSM. Manga style.
Picture Source: see picture here in my photobucket account. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v330/NightmareBiscuit/referance.jpg

Special Notes: This costume totals at least 20 yards of fabric including "powder blue" casa satin, dress lining, and iridescent wing and back bow fabric. Extensive beading takes up the entire top edge of dress from the front to the back, front chest area, and down the front of the dress. Exact count of beads is unknown, but I would estimate somewhere in the area of 4,000. I lost track of how long it took to bead. Lets just say, a very long time.
Wings were made of wire and iridescent fabric.
Dress itself was very difficult to get to fit properly which took most of my time (beading of course took most of my time also). I have been working on the fit of the dress for around 10 months off and on. Pattern was commercial but was modified and pieces such as the sleeves were added.
Wig was styled by a megumibish here on cosplay.com, earrings are by nessabutterfly here on cosplay.com.

Awards

*sigh* none, sadly. I had a great time in the masquerade though!
