These costumes have probably taken me a combined 100+ hours to make. The Rinoa dress was the easiest and took me maybe 20-30 hours to make. The most complicated part was drawing out the design for the mantle, (which I could not put on because of time restraints but will finish and update) then all the hours of embroidering. The collar part is also embroidered (this didn't take as long). For Squall's jacket I used mainly twill for the jacket and mantle, and satin for the trim. I used gold embroidery floss for the design on the collar and a fabric print for the mantle design. For the chain I used a regular chain and fimo clay for the attaching button things. I would like to give thanks to my boyfriend for willingly playing the role of Squall as it was kinda his idea in the first place :).
