Like most people (everyone?) when they first played Suikoden IV, I did not like Snowe. However with much prodding from CapsuleCorp I agreed to be Snowe to match her HeroIV cosplay. It helped that he got exponetially less hateable at the end of the game, and his pirate outfit just looks awesome.

Part of the deal for cosplaying him was that CapsuleCorp would make half the costume. So she's responsible for the gorgeous vest (with velvet suede, droool), bracers (real leather), boot covers and styled the amazing wig. The rest of it (shirt, pants, collar) was made by me.

I was actually very surprised by how well this costume agrees with me. It's fun and easy to wear, the wig only obstructs half of my vision and everytime I don't want to do something I just have to say "my arm hurts" :)

What started as a "sigh, I guess" costume has turned into one of my favorite cosplays in my current rotation.
