I'm still a cosplay newbie.....

I made this for Kawaii Kon 2007. This costume required hours of "MacGuyver-ing" the side of a book as a hammer to hammer in at least 50 grommets. I was really proud of the way the costume looked. However, I was not so proud of the wig. Do you know how hard it is to find a wig in Hawaii on a near-to-nothing student budget??
